【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoverscertified,tested,commercialtype,EMSSambulancesbuiltonchassisthataresuitablefortheintendedapplicationandmeettherequirementsherein.Theambulancesarefrontorrearwheeldriven(4x2)orfourwheeldriven(4x4)andwarrantedasspecifiedinSection9.1.1.1DefinitionofAmbulance8212;Anambulanceisavehicleforemergencymedicalcarewhichprovides:adriver'scompartment;apatientcompartmenttoaccommodateanemergencymedicaltechnician(EMT)/paramedicandtwolitterpatients(onepatientlocatedontheprimarycotandasecondarypatientonafoldinglitterlocatedonthesquadbench)sopositionedthattheprimarypatientcanbegivenintensivelife-supportduringtransit;equipmentandsuppliesforemergencycareatthesceneaswellasduringtransport;two-wayradiocommunication;and,whennecessary,equipmentforlightrescue/extricationprocedures.Theambulanceshallbedesignedandconstructedtoaffordsafety,comfort,andavoidaggravationofthepatient'sinjuryorillness.1.1.2Thisstandardmaybeusedtoprocureanambulanceandtheapplicableadditionalsystemsandequipment.1.1.3Purchasersshouldfollowtheorderingdatain9.2toaidthemwiththepreparationoftheirprocurementspecification,requisition,
