【摘要】:Thespiralflowofathermosettingmoldingcompoundisameasureofthecombinedcharacteristicsoffusionunderpressure,meltviscosity,andgelationrateunderspecificconditions.Thistestmethodisusefulasaqualitycontroltestandasanacceptancecriterion.Thistestmethod,byitself,isnotavalidmeansforcomparingthemoldabilityofsimilarordifferentmoldingcompoundsbecauseitcannotduplicateactualconditionsprevalentindifferenttypesofproductionmolds.Thistestmethodispresentlyintendedforuseatatransferpressureof6.9MPa(1000psi)andamoldtemperatureof423x00B1;3K(150x00B1;3x00B0;C(302x00B1;5x00B0;F)).1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureformeasuringthespiralflowofthermosettingmoldingcompounds(softorverysoft)designedformoldingpressuresunder6.9MPa(1000psi).Itisespeciallysuitedforthosecompoundsusedforencapsulationorotherlowpressuremoldingtechniques.Itinvolvestheuseofastandardspiralflowmoldinatransfermoldingpressunderspecifiedconditionsofappliedtemperatureandpressurewithacontrolledchargemass.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothistestmethod.
